Max Lucado is an American clergyman and a writer. This quote was adopted from his book, “He still moves stones”.
I posted above quote image on our Instagram page and someone commented to the post saying; “God doesn't love me anymore, I hate everything”
True, you might feel like that when nothing goes your way. You could be fighting many battles today. It might be the pandemic, health, housing, food, financial issues, or anything of that sort. You might get the feeling that God is not there with you anymore to fix your problems. Then you end up losing faith in Him. But always remember God will not do what you want, God has different plans for you. Plans to make you a better Person as he knows what is right and what is best for you. Therefore, we must always have faith in God's plans.
Can you recall the night where Jesus went to the Mount of olives where his followers went with him? Jesus said to his followers,
“Pray for strength against temptation.”
Then Jesus kneeled down and prayed,
“Father, if you are willing, take away this cup of suffering. But do what you want, not what I want.” Then an angel from heaven appeared to him to strengthen him. Being full of pain, Jesus prayed even harder. His sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. (Luke 22:39–44)
Can you imagine the pain Jesus might have felt at this moment? But he went on, he always had faith in God and believed that God will do the right thing.
So, I ask you to do the same, always have faith in God and trust his plan for you. It will definitely make you stronger than ever.
